THE WHAT? Procter & Gamble has launched a three-day virtual innovation festival, named iLab 2021, in partnership with the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB). 

THE DETAILS The festival brings together start-ups from Singapore and across the region, which will then collaborate with P&G to help create innovations to overcome challenges in the fields of advertising, retail and supply chain. 

The festival, which is held at P&G’s i-Singapore Digital Omni-Channel Center (i-SiDOC), will see the start-ups brainstorm how technology can help in domains such as AI personalization, gaming, social commerce, and supply chain resiliency.

According to a press release, iLabs focuses on three different streams: Future of Advertising, Future of Retail and Future of Supply Chain.

Some 27 start-ups were chosen to attend the three-day event out of a starting pool of 100 applicants. 

THE WHY? The festival is said to have evolved from P&G’s stance that a ‘dynamic and sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystem is crucial for businesses to meet the evolving needs of customers.’
