Injectable aesthetics reviews. Eco personal care brand 900.care raises €10 million in funding from seed round
THE WHAT? Environmentally-conscious personal care brand 900.care has raised €10 million in funding from a seed round led by White Star Capital, Founders Future, 360 Capital and business angels.
THE DETAILS Founded by Aymeric Grange and Thomas Arau, the refillable, natural, subscription-based brand aims to reduce single-use plastics through its refillable hygiene products.
These are reusable recycled plastic bottles that are then filled and refilled with anhydrous tablets or sticks shipped in cardboard cases.
THE WHY? The investment injection will be used to fund business growth, with the start-up now set to expand its product line, continue its R&D investments and accelerate communications efforts.
900.care will also employ 15 employees.
Grange said, “In a few months, we have successfully taken the first steps of our ambition: to reduce plastic waste in the bathroom without forcing consumers to change their habits. It is a tremendous work that is underway, but we want refill o become a new standard for beauty and hygiene products in France.”
Speaking about the investment, Alexandre Mordacq, a partner at 360 Capital, said, “900.care is a very good example of a company that has succeeded in combining ecological impact and business potential, which is a necessary condition for moving the lines and becoming a future champion.”
