THE WHAT? Coty has announced the appointment of Constantin Sklavenitis as its new Chief Prestige Brands Officer, effective 6thSeptember. 

THE DETAILS Joining Coty from MAC Cosmetics, where he worked as Senior Vice President/General Manager of North America, Sklavenitis will report to CEO Sue Y. Nabi in his new position. 

Prior to his time at MAC, Sklavenitis spent more than two decades at L’Oréal creating and executing the global business models of new brands, leading business development and growing sales for multiple brands such as Urban Decay, IT Cosmetics, and Kiehl’s.

THE WHY? Sklavenitis has been chosen to oversee all prestige brands and will be responsible for one of Coty’s strategic growth pillars, primarily to become a ‘key player in prestige make-up and expand on skincare.’
