Injectable aesthetics reviews. Beiersdorf appoints two new members to the Board

THE WHAT? Beiersdorf has appointed Patrick Rasquinet and Oswald Barckhahn to the Executive Board, effective 1st July and 15 October respectively. 

THE DETAILS Rasquinet will take over the Pharmacy & Selective division, which includes Eucerin, Hansaplast and La Prairie, from Vincent Warnery. The beauty exec joined Beiersdorf in 1993 and has worked across Belgium, Brazil, South Korea, Russia, and the U.S.

Meanwhile Barckhahn will take on the responsibility for Europe and North America after a transition period, joining the company from Jacobs Douwe Egborts in Amsterdam where he held the position of President Europe and Head of Global Sales and E-Commerce. 

Barckhahn will succeed Thomas Ingelfinger, who will retire in 2022. 

THE WHY? The new appointees are said to bring a ‘balanced mix’ to the Beiersdorf Executive Board, with Warnery stating that the pair will ‘further strengthen’ the management team. 

Reinhard Pöllath, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, said, “Patrick Rasquinet and Oswald Barckhahn bring a balanced mix to the Beiersdorf Executive Board, with their successful and truly global track records, combining inside and outside experiences.”

Warnery continued, “Both have demonstrated strategic vision and management experience that are needed to continue to lead the Pharmacy & Selective division and our businesses in Europe and North America into a successful future.”
