Handpicked by the magazine’s beauty experts, the products are said to be tried and tested. The space, co-created with the Stour Group, will also offer in-store events, tutorials and masterclasses led by brands and the Allure editorial team.

The beauty store follows on from the Allure Beauty Box, with the layout designed to emulate its print content, including its Best of Beauty Awards and seasonal product changes. The store has a range of tech features such as AR allowing for virtual try ones and QR codes to direct consumers to multimedia content.

THE WHY? With print media no longer commanding the lure it once did, media companies are increasing seeking ways to diversify and evolve.

Markus Grindel, Managing Director, Global Brand Licensing, Condé Nast, said, “As consumers begin to return to in-store shopping, innovation is critical for brands to cut through the noise. Allure Store is reimagining retail with an entirely new approach to beauty, combining its trusted editorial voice and unparalleled expertise to create a first of its kind, 360-degree immersive shopping experience. The store illustrates how much we can flex our powerful brands by extending Allure’s iconic IP into a physical retail space.”
