THE DETAILS This second phase sees Absa Bank Kenya and the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) join the effort.
To qualify for the training, business owners must have been trading for a minimum of one year. The program aims to encourage peer learning, knowledge sharing and networking among like-minded professionals too.
THE WHY? Henry Muchauraya, Unilever Homecare Director for East Africa told KBC Channel, “Sunlight is committed to helping over 100,000 Kenyan women entrepreneurs to develop their businesses into sustainable and profitable ventures they can be proud of by 2026. We will do this by providing tools and partnership to allow them to become more. We have done this by partnering with UNITAR and Absa Bank.”
